The conservation of this fund also allows us to guarantee the rights of those Cuban citizens who need to prove their family origins to process their application for Spanish nationality (right recognized by Law 52/2007, of December 26).
The so-called Historical Memory Law recognizes and expands the rights and establishes measures in favor of people who suffered persecution or violence during the Civil War and the Dictatorship.
