This project is part of the line of work of archival treatment and recovery of documentation generated by the activity of Catalan casals that exist in various places in the world and that have their origin in the different phenomena of migration and exile that have occurred throughout history, mainly due to the civil war from 1936 to 1939.

In 2007, a survey was carried out in the Casals Catalans of Buenos Aires and Rosario, and in 2014 it was decided to start a project to organize and digitize the most important documents in the archive.
