In 2007, Archivists Without Borders collaborated with the Salvador Allende Foundation with the aim of organizing, cataloging and digitizing the posters that this institution preserved. These are 787 posters that were used in various advertising campaigns carried out by the government of President Salvador Allende (1970-1973) and make up a unique collection that reflects the political ideology of the Popular Unity party when it governed Chile.

This project has been carried out in collaboration with Archivists Without Borders-Peru, who have participated in the technical and specific advice on the archival treatment of the posters.
